What you should understand before receiving care through online consultations.
Last updated: October 2026
What telehealth is
Telehealth allows you to consult with a U.S. medical doctor licensed in your state using secure online communications, without an in-person visit. Your doctor may review your intake, medical history, and any records you provide to evaluate your care.
Benefits and limitations
Telehealth offers convenient access to care, but it has limitations. Your doctor cannot perform a physical examination, and some conditions require in-person evaluation, laboratory testing, or imaging before treatment can be considered.
Your doctor may determine that telehealth is not appropriate for your situation and may refer you to in-person care.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide complete and accurate health information, to be located in the state where your doctor is licensed at the time of the consultation, and to follow up with in-person care when your doctor recommends it.
Privacy and security
Consultations are conducted through secure channels. As with any electronic communication, there are inherent risks to privacy despite safeguards; these are described in our Privacy Policy.
Prescriptions
Any prescription is issued solely at the independent medical judgment of your consulting doctor. No prescription is guaranteed, and some medications — including certain compounded preparations — may not be available in every state.
Your consent
By using Thera Glow Rx services, you consent to receive care via telehealth and acknowledge the benefits, limitations, and risks described above. You may withdraw this consent at any time before your consultation.
